| Nowadays St. Petersburg offers accommodations for every taste and budget. However, hotel rating system in Russia is different from that in the West. It can be a bit confusing, but we tried to make it as simple as possible by introducing four hotel categories. Luxury Hotels (5 Star) are truly luxurious. They offer excellent facilities, gourmet dining and the highest standard of service. Attentive multi-lingual hotel staff and concierge services will make your stay in St. Petersburg very enjoyable. All luxury hotels are conveniently located in the historical city center. Superior Hotels (4 Star) usually are not luxurious, but offer modern facilities, a choice of dining options and good standard of service. Most Superior Hotels offer good business and conference facilities. Standard-class Hotels (3 Star) are perhaps the best option for an average tourist. Perhaps they lack splendor, but offer clean comfortable rooms and reasonable quality of service. Most of them have business centers, service desks and souvenir shops. As to Budget Hotels, it can only be said that currently demand is much higher than supply. At the moment we are looking for more hotels which fall in this category.
